Harcourt NFT is a high class photo studio based in Paris with a rich heritage turned digital.

We are excited to share that this prestigious studio, founded in 1934, is now transitioning their mass of photographic knowledge into a provider of blue-chip NFTPhotography. Their first NFT drop hits public sale on 13th May with their genesis drop of 4 iconic portraits as 1/200 editions. You can sign up to the whitelist which is now open using our unique code- ART3

The drop flaunts iconic portraits of Karl Lagerfeld, Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf and Salvador Dalì as black and white photographs, carefully selected from the studio’s abundant collection. Each is proudly selected from a much larger portfolio which has played its part in contributing to industry standards for glamorous photographs of its kind.

As their first adventure into the Metaverse, the studio has granted the special privilege, to every collector, a guaranteed spot on the whitelist for the future drop of their newly released virtual gallery. You can sign up using our unique code ‘ART3’.

The virtual gallery elegantly showcases an authentic render of the “hôtel particulier” at 6 rue de Lota 75116 Paris France, headquarters of the photo studio itself. Enter the showroom and browse the classical assemblage of recognisable portraits as if you were walking the floors of the venue in real life. Celebrities and notable names from around the world delicately hang from the walls of the accurately modelled digital realm with an attention to detail which competes with anything we’ve seen alike.

The Harcourt style bestowed is an amalgamation of inspiration from the French cinematographer Henri Alekan and the personal touch of founder Cosette Harcourt. Each portrait boasts a distinctive use of lighting against the own attitude of each subject. Most showcase a small smile with an underlying sense of theatrical stage. In turn, each portrait uses a gray-to-black backdrop, seasoned with the studio’s distinctive signature which brands each piece as a proud production of the Maison.

In Paris, The Harcourt studio presents photography as a service of fine art production. The atelier offers prestigious photo sessions to capture memorable moments and awards them to their clients as timeless portraits. From advertising to wedding photography, the studio harnesses its chic, French touch to create photography with an elite finish. Purchasing the service of Harcourt studio in 2010 allegedly put you back around 1900 euros per photograph. This gives you an idea of the sought after style the company has developed and continues to provide to this day. The only difference is you can now browse and acquire this quality of work from the comfort of your home.

We see this NFT collection as an exciting move into web3 which is kickstarting a new way of collecting and distributing culture in this day and age. We’re witnessing more and more names with a notable heritage like Harcourt make moves into blockchain, a journey which ART3 is excited to be a part of. Now is your chance to be a part of this iconic French brand leading the way of digital adoption.
